Description

A tier-1 global investment firm is seeking an Execution Trader / Trade Support professional to join its Hong Kong trading platform. The role supports portfolio managers across multi-asset strategies and global markets, with exposure to Asia, Europe, and the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute trades across cash equities, swaps, options, and futures using algorithmic, and high-touch channels
2. Provide real-time market colour, data, and flow insights to portfolio managers
3. Perform pre- and post-trade controls to ensure compliance with internal risk parameters and regulatory requirements
4. Source liquidity, including hard-to-borrow inventory and block opportunities
5. Coordinate closely with operations, risk, and compliance to ensure efficient trade capture and settlement

Candidate Profile

1. Fluency in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese is essential
2. Up to 10 years' relevant experience
3. Strong coding capability (e.g. Python or C++) required
4. Solid understanding of trading systems and analytics platforms
5. Experience with U.S. or Hong Kong-listed options advantageous
6. Familiarity with risk and portfolio analytics systems
7. Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
