The role:

Join Nine Mile's Global ETF Market Making team as a Trader, based in Sydney, with a primary focus on markets in Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea

• Developing and executing trading strategies for HK, JP, TW & SK and across Global ETF/D1 products
• Researching to identify new trading opportunities in these respective markets
• Collaborating closely with the broader market-making team to drive performance and optimize execution
• Implementing algorithmic strategies and associated tools specifically.
• Proactively engaging with regulators, issuers, exchanges, and brokers in the broader APAC region.

What you will bring:

• 3+ years of relevant trading experience at a High-Frequency Trading Firm
• Computer programming skills in Python, C++,
• Highly advanced ability in probability and statistics
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• A passion for financial markets
• Strong academic record in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or an equivalent degree.
