Overview

They are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to strengthen the organization's risk management framework and foster a robust risk culture. This is a strategic managerial role that will influence decision-making and ensure operational resilience across the group.

Role
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, the Operational Risk Manager will design and implement an operational risk management framework that aligns with group policies and best practices. He/ She will lead risk assessments, develop practical tools for analysis and reporting, and ensure that emerging risks are identified and mitigated effectively. A key aspect of the role is driving engagement and accountability among business leaders, embedding risk considerations into core processes, and maintaining comprehensive risk registers. The Manager will also collaborate with risk hubs and subject matter experts to ensure governance structures and strategies are aligned. Leading and coaching a high-performing team of specialists will be central to your success.

Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification and bring substantial management-level experience in operational risk within a large commodities or supply chain environment. You should have a proven track record in developing and executing risk strategies, coupled with strong analytical and execution skills. A systematic-thinking approach, intellectual curiosity, and a growth mindset are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse teams are critical.
