Description

You will play a key role in developing risk frameworks and ensuring adherence to regulatory expectations and internal standards. The successful candidate will have strong experience working with risk and control frameworks, be capable of conducting risk assessments, and facilitate risk governance reporting. You will also be responsible for supporting risk incident and issue management processes, performing root cause analyses, and helping teams design appropriate controls to minimise risk exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the development and execution of the non-financial risk management framework.

* Conduct risk assessments and work closely with business units to monitor and mitigate identified risks.

* Assist in managing risk event reporting, remediation tracking and risk indicator analysis.

* Establish and maintain risk registers and control inventories across business functions.

* Coordinate and support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews and compliance assessments.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in risk and control processes.

* Prepare and present risk reporting materials for governance forums and senior management.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as ICA, FRM, or equivalent will be advantageous.

* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in non-financial risk, operational risk or a related function within the banking, financial services or Fintech industries.

* Strong understanding of risk management frameworks (e.g. Basel II/III, COSO, ISO 31000) and regulatory guidelines relevant to operational and conduct risk.

* Proven ability to analyse data, identify trends and deliver insights to support decision-making.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

* Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail, and capable of working independently under pressure.

* Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and risk management systems.
