Description
Responsibilities- Carry out thorough market research, in-depth analysis of financial statements and data and support research on hedge funds across strategies.
- Collect, organise, and analyse financial and/or performance data to support investment strategies and portfolio management.
- Keep abreast of market trends, economic news, and industry developments that may impact investment strategies.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarising findings and insights for senior management and investment committees.
- Work closely with senior analysts and portfolio managers to support the investment process and contribute to team discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong Analytical and Quantitative skills, with a solid understanding of financial concepts and investment principles.
- Excellent in Excel and financial modelling; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Internship experience in finance, investment banking, or asset management will be a bonus, as will familiarity with hedge fund strategies and investment vehicles.
- Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Cantonese and Mandarin will be an added advantage.
