Description

We are working with a leading Asset Manager who are undergoing a significant period of transformation within their Finance function. They are seeking an experienced Finance Change Manager to support a high-profile programme alongside core financial reporting responsibilities.

This is a broad and hands-on role, combining change delivery with day-to-day finance support , ideal for someone who is comfortable operating across both project and BAU environments.

Key Responsibilities
Finance Change & Transformation

1. Support delivery of a major Finance-led transformation programme, including the setup of a new management company
2. Capture and translate business requirements into clear Finance process designs
3. Map end-to-end processes, including data flows, system interactions, controls, and reporting outputs
4. Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal and other stakeholders to ensure alignment across functions
5. Support testing phases and ensure readiness for implementation
6. Provide clear updates to senior stakeholders on progress, risks, and key decisions

BAU Finance Support

1. Provide hands-on support across Financial Reporting & Control
2. Assist with statutory reporting, capital calculations, and regulatory outputs
3. Maintain and enhance financial control processes and documentation
4. Ensure integrity of ledger and sub-ledger data

Process Improvement & Controls

1. Identify and deliver improvements across Finance processes
2. Reduce manual effort through automation and optimisation
3. Strengthen the financial control framework and ensure robust documentation
4. Ensure all new processes and controls are clearly defined and embedded

Experience Required

1. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
2. Strong experience within asset or investment management
3. Proven track record delivering Finance change initiatives
4. Experience across financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and control
5. Ability to operate across both project delivery and BAU finance environments
6. Strong understanding of finance systems, data flows, and legal entity structures
7. Advanced Excel skills
