Planning and Design Administration - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (25006407)
Manages fiscal and accounting functions; formulates and recommends policies and procedures to effectively administer programs. • Maintains general ledger accounts; handles funds for units of small size/complexity; prepares general ledger journal entries. • Prepares financial reports, invoices, schedules, or statements for review and approval. • Establish and fund the capital construction accounts in General Ledger and the Job Cost system. Monitor financial status of capital construction projects. • Prepares and reviews data and assigned accounts in preparation for internal and external audits; research discrepancies in accounting data which includes auditing and analyzing fiscal data; resolves issues in coordination with others. • Assists with the planning, coordination, and implementation of budgets. • Interface with various university department personnel, Budget and Controller's Office and DGS Fiscal personnel on project funding. • Properly capitalize projects assigned for closing. Communicate with Project Managers to ensure that the costs on projects are accurate and within the scope of work.

Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
